Our Baby Chicks are growing...

The Chicks are growing "James" the new one is the one in Red, he is a Rhode Island Red Pullett. They love to perch on this log I found outside. They boys went down to make sure James was fitting in tonight. They seem to all be getting along.

Bye to JuJuBee...

We had to sat goodbye to JuJuBee today. We took her back to the feed store because something was wrong. They said she probably has some neurological damage or is a weakling. I wanted to keep her but they suggested not to as the other chicks will peak at her until she dies. How mean! I did not ask what they would do with JuJuBee - but they gave us another bird we named James. Liam and Reilly were so good about the whole thing. I was sad - who knew one could get so attached to chickens - geez!

Opening Day Mariners 2007

Jason and Liam have gone to Opening Day for the past 3 Years together. They were not going to go this year because we did not have tickets - but Jason got a call this afternoon from a good friend who had tickets and he rushed home to take Liam. They had a lot of fun together and brought home Mariner Mooses for the kids. Next year Jason gets to take both boys!
What a blessing!!!!!!

Easter Egg Coloring w/Mema

Mema came to visit this past weekend and colored eggs with the boys. They had so much fun. Liam said he was to young to hunt only big boys could - I had to explain what it meant to hunt eggs. He is so excited. We had a great weekend! Rain, but fun!

New Picture of Natalie 11 months old

It was a nice day today so Liam (my photography assistant) and I went out to try and capture some pictures of Natalie (11 months). She wanted to eat the flower, but Liam kept making her giggle. We had a lot of fun! I found this dress in a pile of hand-me-downs from my neice Maddy. It is so adorable. We took a lot of pictures these are just a few.
Love to all,
Jess & Liam

Rain...Rain...Rain - Seriously will it ever stop!

Well it is Monday morning and a very dreary day. Strange as the forcast really did not predict this then again we live in Seattle. The only place a meterologist can be wrong 50% of the time.

Our chickens are all doing good this morning. I was worried they would be to cold downstairs, but they are just fine. I am not sure they like us to much as they like to poop a lot and on us when we hold them. Reilly is in LOVE he wants to spend every waking moment in the basement with the chickens.

I decided I would do some laundry - I have not done laundry in 3 days - seriously this is 3 days worth of laundry - scary.

The boys have alreadt painted. Reilly's picture is of a roller coaster and Liams is a forest and sun. Now they are off playing Gone Fishin. Another day to try and entertain them inside. Hmmmm. Natalie seems to have a stomach bug. She was up till 11pm last night then 2am, the boys woke me at 4am and I got them back to sleep by sleeping in the guest bed with them. I woke at 5:22am with Natalie to feed her and get her back to sleep. We came down stairs and sat on the couch. She finally fell back asleep and then the boys woke up at 7:30am and I layed her down. I am tired - but thank God for caffine!

Okay well - have a great day. Here are a few prayer request...

1. Kileen - doing good with chemo. Pray for strength and energy.

2. My friend Selina's son Wyatt was diagnosed with "falure to thrive" he is a year old and only 17lbs. They are doing a bunch of testing and just pray they do not find anything major.

3. My sister-in-law Laura is having a surgery today to stop some menstrual bleeding she has been having. She has to be put under - just pray all goes well and they do not get in there and find anything else. Pray she will take the time she needs to recover and not do so much. Her health has been an issue the past year.

Love ya,

Jess

Just a catch up...

Okay so I thought I would catch up on my post. The weekend was crazy. I went scrapbooking Friday night and got some of Natalies album done - yahoo! Then Saturday Jacquie (a.k.a Nana) came down in the afternoon. I had a TS party that night so Nana watched the kids and made yummy pork chops. Little Natalie has decided that no one can put her to bed except me and was wide awake and happy as a clam when I got home. Sunday we missed church because Jason had to work, Liam was still coughing and I was not feeling good. We then had small group Sunday night - which was fun!

So that was our weekend in a nutshell. We are just hanging out today enjoying the sun - that has now gone away - boo...hoo! I need to go make dinner.

Love to all,
Jess

We have 6 new babies in our family...(don't freak out they are just baby chicks)

Okay so we have been talking about getting baby chicks. Today they had them at the Feed & Supply Store here in Black Diamond so we decided to get some. The boys were in love! We borrowed a bunny cage for their "brodder" and bought the heat lamp, feeder, feed, and water. We went on line to this great website www.backyardchickens.com and found all we needed to know about raising us some chickens.

So may I introduce to you...Freddie, JuJuBee, LullaBell, Firecracker (he is feisty), Thomas (of course) and Lola. We have a few boy names, but that is okay. The boys love their new little chicks and were so cute cuddling them. Natalie just giggles at them. She was down for a nap when I took these.

Moms first try at cutting the boys hair...not bad!

I decided to save $40.00 and go ahead and cut the boys hair myself. My mom gave me clippers a while back but I have been to afraid to cut their hair. It actually did pretty good. The boys like their new cuts. Yahoo!

Its Thursday...

Good Morning...it is a gloomy Thursday here in Black Diamond. I wake everyday just hoping there is blue sky and sun. Grrrr....

Liam is doing much better. No more barking cough. He has a slight cough but is acting normal and eating normal. I cancelled his Dr. Appt and will wait out over the weekend to see if he gets completely better. It is hard for me to pay $20.00 to go in and have them tell me there is nothing we can do but wait it out. I have been to the Dr. enough with all three to know when to go and when not to go. Oh and I have spent enough money too! Ha!

Liam will miss school this today and maybe tomorrow just depending on how he is doing. I have heard the fever sometimes comes back after a few days.

Nana is coming to visit this weekend and the boys are so excited.

Last night we took the boys on an adventure to Mexican (mommie did not want to cook) amnd then to Target so they could buy something with the spending money they have been saving. It was so much fun! The excitement in there eyes when they got to use there own money to buy a toy was fun. Liam wanted to know what he could save for next. It was decided he would save for a new plastic Tomy James and the old one he ruined playing with it outside. Reilly got a Garbage truck which is very loud, but he LOVES it. He thinks it was for his birthday. Too funny!

Have a great day!

Love,

Jess

Mid Week Update...

Well it is Wednesday and I can hardly believe this week is going by so fast. We have been home the past three days as Liam has had a 103-104 temp. He finally broke his temp last night and slept through the night but now has a bad baring cough. He is acting normal today - thank goodness. Yesterday he barely moved from the couch, which if you know Liam is not like him at all. Reilly was not himself because Liam did not want to play. Today he wants to eat and play so I am hoping this is a good sign. We have a Dr. appt tomorrow to see if the cough is anything to be concerned about.

Natalie is GREAT! We took her off the Omnicef on Monday and she has not had a bloody stool since. I read a few things on the Internet about it causing blood in stool. I am hoping her ear infection does not return. She is sleeping through the night 8-5:30am and if I feed her she will sleep until 8:30. This is great! Finally after 3 or 4 years of less then 4 hrs a night I am getting some much needed sleep - Yahoo!

Jason is CRAZY busy at work and just plugging away at his business. He is getting involved with Creative Team at our church New Community.

I have my next TS party this Saturday at my good friend Tricia's. WHO oh by the way is expecting. She has been on fertility for years and trying to get pregnant and if you knew the whole story you would know this is a MIRACLE. They just had their adoption home study go through and so now they are expecting TWO kids. Oh boy!

For those of you who call us - we no longer have a home phone. Do not be alarmed - we cancelled it to see if we could save some money just using our cell phones and e-mail.

Okay I better get lunch served, kids off for naps, laundry done, dishes, and start thinking about dinner.

Happy Wednesday ~ Love
Jess

OH MY GOSH!

Hanging out in our PJ's on a Monday

Playdoh Nose
Kens new shoes
She is just so "stinking" cute
Does that look like a sick kid...Hmmmmm???

Today it is raining and cloudy. Liam woke up with a 103 fever this morning around 5:30am. He seems to be feeling better although his fever is spiking again and he is pretty tired. Reilly has now got the cough - AGAIN. I have to say this has been one ugly winter health wise for us. I am sooooo looking forward to warmer weather.

We are hanging out in our PJ's today and just relaxing. Reilly thinks it is fun to play with Ken (Barbies) and put Ken in his shoes. This is so funny. We also got a chance to play some playdoh today which they boys love and have mixed all the colors together.

Here is the update on Natalie as of yesterday (last stool) she still had blood in her stool. I am waiting to see if she goes today and what might be in there before I call the Dr. We went to Children's over the weekend and they thought it might be the Mortrin as well (causes bleeding of the stomach lining in 1% of children). I am taking her off the Omnicef today as this all started right after she started taking it, so Jason and I agreed to eliminate all possibilities. Our concern is how long will it take to have her stomach recover or how long will we expect to see bloody stool. She is acting normal, sleeping great and her ears seem good. Although, will the ear infection come back with going off the antibiotic. Anyhow, we are staying on top of things and making sure we are checking in with the Pediatrician. The next step if we continue is to go to Children's and have scope done to determine where the bleeding is coming from.

If you can please keep her in your prayers. We are not freaking out...but it is concerning to have the bleeding and we just want to stay on top of it in case there is something we are all missing here.

Love you all,

Jess

Like Father Like Son...

I had to take this snapshot. He poured his own cereal and milk. This reminds me so much of me as a kid and Jason now! Sitting in front of the cereal box reading (or pretending to read).

The Little Princess

Seriously how cute!
This is the one I entered

This is my favorite photo

I could not resist a perfect day for photos of our little princess. She had a rough day today. She has had a double ear infection for over a week and has 6 teeth coming in on the top. We had to take her back to the urgent care today because she had blood in her stool. They think it is from the Mortin as she has no other signs (fever, pale skin, tiredness, blotting, etc.) of any other problems. She is acting fine and such a trooper - I would be miserable if I was her. We are doing good today and she had a great night of sleep (11 hrs). These were taking yesterday afternoon. I just entered her in a photo contest with one of them for a trip to NYC and to be on Good Morning America.
Could not resist!

A Beautiful Day...FINALLY!

The Kiddos

Grumpy Bear

Liams very best friend Shane!

Okay we had the most beautiful weather yesterday. I could not beleive how warm it was outside. The kids and I met a friend at the Cedar River Trail and took the kids for a walk. They had so much fun! Reilly was such a trooper he actually rode his bike most of the way. Liam, Shane, and Katherine got a little to far ahead at one point. Ben just chilled in the stroller. They all got tired on the way back.

Just another Thursday...

Self Portrait

Choo! Choo!

I love this picture!

Today we had MOPs @ Wabash Pres. in Enumclaw. It was a great day...we had a guest speaker come talk to us about Friendship. The kids had fun in Moppetts. Then it was off to home to make PBJ&M's for the car ride to drop Liam off at preschool at 12:30pm. Then back home to get Reilly down for a nap and Natalie some lunch. Then Natalie and I played and woke Reilly up to head to get Liam from school by 3:00pm. Then on our way home we stopped at the Caboose because it was open and the boys have been wanting to go there. We had a blast! Now we are back home and cozied up to our fire enjoying a snack and waiting for our mini corn dogs to get done for dinner. Thursdays are our busiest day of the week so I usually let the boys eat something easy. I have a friends party tonight up the road. We hope you guys all had a fun Thursday.
