Happy Thursday

Well the day ended up to not be so bad. We had some breaks of sun - enough to play out side when we could. I am finally almost done with the laundry I started on Monday. The kids still have stuffy noses and Natalie is teething again. She is walking like crazy and thinks it is so much fun to hang with her brothers.

We had a few friends over today to play from out small group at church. This was a lot of fun! I am getting a bit antsy about school getting out so that I do not have so much running around to do. I have decided to homeschool Liam and Reilly in the fall pre-k (3) and kindergarten. I just feel like it is worth trying out and the idea of not having to run him to preschool 3 days a week and work around nap schedules and the other two is very nice.

Here are some pictures for today - I just had to get Natalie in her little piggies!

Love ya,

Jess

Its a Monday!

Today was another sunny day! We hung out outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather. We got sand for the kids sand box. Reilly says "Thanks Mom". We finished one of our little boxed gardens. We played in the jumper and the cool "T-Pee" that grandpa Chucker made. We went for a walk on the Cedar River trail. Liam is getting so good riding his bike without his training wheels. He was a little scared of riding in the dirt though. But it started to rain this evening so I guess tomorrow I have off to do the pile and when I say pile I mean HEEPING pile of laundry at the bottom of my basement stairs.

Have a great night!

Back to Rain...again!

Everytime it is sunny I spend the entire day running around trying to do all I can while the sun is here. We woke up to rain again today. So we are making the most of it. Natalie is feeling a bit under the weather. Liam and Reilly desperatley needed their hair cut so I busted out the clippers today. Boy does there hair grow fast! We are off to the basement to make the blow up jumper into a fort and watch a movie on the big screen. Hope you all have a great day!

The chicks are growing...the chicks are growing

OMG...the chicks are getting so big. I thought we had a few weeks until we needed the coop done, but I guess this is what we will be working on this weekend. They are getting so big and their poop is getting even bigger - yuck! They love the outside, but we have had rain lately so they are stuck inside. All the excitement has worn off for the boys - they are uninterested. Well atleast Reilly still pays attention to them. This is CrackerNut the biggest of the big ones.

Our Baby Chicks are growing...

The Chicks are growing "James" the new one is the one in Red, he is a Rhode Island Red Pullett. They love to perch on this log I found outside. They boys went down to make sure James was fitting in tonight. They seem to all be getting along.

Bye to JuJuBee...

We had to sat goodbye to JuJuBee today. We took her back to the feed store because something was wrong. They said she probably has some neurological damage or is a weakling. I wanted to keep her but they suggested not to as the other chicks will peak at her until she dies. How mean! I did not ask what they would do with JuJuBee - but they gave us another bird we named James. Liam and Reilly were so good about the whole thing. I was sad - who knew one could get so attached to chickens - geez!

Opening Day Mariners 2007

Jason and Liam have gone to Opening Day for the past 3 Years together. They were not going to go this year because we did not have tickets - but Jason got a call this afternoon from a good friend who had tickets and he rushed home to take Liam. They had a lot of fun together and brought home Mariner Mooses for the kids. Next year Jason gets to take both boys!
What a blessing!!!!!!

Easter Egg Coloring w/Mema

Mema came to visit this past weekend and colored eggs with the boys. They had so much fun. Liam said he was to young to hunt only big boys could - I had to explain what it meant to hunt eggs. He is so excited. We had a great weekend! Rain, but fun!

New Picture of Natalie 11 months old

It was a nice day today so Liam (my photography assistant) and I went out to try and capture some pictures of Natalie (11 months). She wanted to eat the flower, but Liam kept making her giggle. We had a lot of fun! I found this dress in a pile of hand-me-downs from my neice Maddy. It is so adorable. We took a lot of pictures these are just a few.
Love to all,
Jess & Liam

Rain...Rain...Rain - Seriously will it ever stop!

Well it is Monday morning and a very dreary day. Strange as the forcast really did not predict this then again we live in Seattle. The only place a meterologist can be wrong 50% of the time.

Our chickens are all doing good this morning. I was worried they would be to cold downstairs, but they are just fine. I am not sure they like us to much as they like to poop a lot and on us when we hold them. Reilly is in LOVE he wants to spend every waking moment in the basement with the chickens.

I decided I would do some laundry - I have not done laundry in 3 days - seriously this is 3 days worth of laundry - scary.

The boys have alreadt painted. Reilly's picture is of a roller coaster and Liams is a forest and sun. Now they are off playing Gone Fishin. Another day to try and entertain them inside. Hmmmm. Natalie seems to have a stomach bug. She was up till 11pm last night then 2am, the boys woke me at 4am and I got them back to sleep by sleeping in the guest bed with them. I woke at 5:22am with Natalie to feed her and get her back to sleep. We came down stairs and sat on the couch. She finally fell back asleep and then the boys woke up at 7:30am and I layed her down. I am tired - but thank God for caffine!

Okay well - have a great day. Here are a few prayer request...

1. Kileen - doing good with chemo. Pray for strength and energy.

2. My friend Selina's son Wyatt was diagnosed with "falure to thrive" he is a year old and only 17lbs. They are doing a bunch of testing and just pray they do not find anything major.

3. My sister-in-law Laura is having a surgery today to stop some menstrual bleeding she has been having. She has to be put under - just pray all goes well and they do not get in there and find anything else. Pray she will take the time she needs to recover and not do so much. Her health has been an issue the past year.

Love ya,

Jess

Just a catch up...

Okay so I thought I would catch up on my post. The weekend was crazy. I went scrapbooking Friday night and got some of Natalies album done - yahoo! Then Saturday Jacquie (a.k.a Nana) came down in the afternoon. I had a TS party that night so Nana watched the kids and made yummy pork chops. Little Natalie has decided that no one can put her to bed except me and was wide awake and happy as a clam when I got home. Sunday we missed church because Jason had to work, Liam was still coughing and I was not feeling good. We then had small group Sunday night - which was fun!

So that was our weekend in a nutshell. We are just hanging out today enjoying the sun - that has now gone away - boo...hoo! I need to go make dinner.

Love to all,
Jess

We have 6 new babies in our family...(don't freak out they are just baby chicks)

Okay so we have been talking about getting baby chicks. Today they had them at the Feed & Supply Store here in Black Diamond so we decided to get some. The boys were in love! We borrowed a bunny cage for their "brodder" and bought the heat lamp, feeder, feed, and water. We went on line to this great website www.backyardchickens.com and found all we needed to know about raising us some chickens.

So may I introduce to you...Freddie, JuJuBee, LullaBell, Firecracker (he is feisty), Thomas (of course) and Lola. We have a few boy names, but that is okay. The boys love their new little chicks and were so cute cuddling them. Natalie just giggles at them. She was down for a nap when I took these.

Moms first try at cutting the boys hair...not bad!

I decided to save $40.00 and go ahead and cut the boys hair myself. My mom gave me clippers a while back but I have been to afraid to cut their hair. It actually did pretty good. The boys like their new cuts. Yahoo!
